BOGENSBERGER Patent- & Markenbuero was founded in 2004 by Burkhard Bogensberger, PhD, after ten years of patent practice as an employee in a local patent law firm. Our technical focus is mainly on new developments in the biosciences area including the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, virology, biotechnology, medicine and medical engineering. In addition, we advise and represent in IP matters relating to mechanical engineering, and of course in any trademark and design matters.
Due to our professional education and longstanding experience in the fields of IP and particularly with regard to patents of invention, utility patents, trademarks, designs and design patents, we are qualified and admitted to represent our clients before the domestic Liechtenstein IP-Authorities, the Swiss IPO, the World Intellectual Porperty Organisation (WIPO), as well as before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Union IPO (EUIPO).
As an internationally oriented patent law firm we cooperate with foreign associates all across the globe via a well established network of patent and trademark professionals. Located in between the offices of WIPO in Geneva, the Swiss Patent Office in Berne, and the EPO in Munich we are in a position to flexibly attend to our customers' needs or desires including attending oral hearings or conducting interviews with patent, trademark or design examiners, as the case may be.
